Piano Tuning and Repair Service

Piano Tuning Service -- Fee Schedule

Tuning -- $85, includes any minor regulation adjustments 

Tuning for Paducah non-profits -- $70 

Pitch raise charge for instruments 75 - 200 cents flat -- $15

Pitch raise charge for instruments 200 or more cents flat -- $40.

Labor -- $25/hour

Action refurbishments and other major work are charged at our regular hourly rate.

Parts -- $5 minimum fee otherwise will be charged at cost + shipping.

Service Call Fee -- $75, includes one hour of labor, travel time, and any miscellaneous supplies. NOT applied when the technician is onsite for a tuning.

All work is guaranteed. If our technician is called back to fix a problem he addressed before, there will be no service call fee.

Piano Moving Service

ALL BASE PIANO MOVING RATES INCLUDE 60 MILES ROUND TRIP FROM BLEWETT MUSIC STUDIO. MILEAGE IS CHARGED AT A RATE OF $2/MILE IN BUNDLES OF 25 MILES (EFFECTIVE JUNE 15, 2022). Vertical Piano Moving Service

1. Spinet and Console pianos -- base moving rate $200.00

2. Upright pianos -- base moving rate $225.00

Grand Piano Moving Service

1. Grand pianos under 6' in length -- base moving rate $400.00

2. Grand pianos over 6' in length -- base moving rate $425.00

3.  Square grand pianos -- base moving rate $525.00

Organ Moving Service

1. Charged at the same rate as an upright piano.

If there are more than 5 stair steps in one location, stair steps in multiple locations, or uneven or soft (unpaved) ground in the path of the piano, please contact Blewett Music Studio for a quote.

Piano Storage 

1. Moving fee from above is charged.

2. Grand piano storage rate $3/day.

3. All types of vertical pianos storage rate $1/day.

4. Grand and Upright piano delivery fee: $75.00

5. Console and Spinet piano delivery fee: $50.00

No Show Fee -- Up to $75, charged if no access is granted at the time of piano tuning/repair/moving appointment.

Referral Policy -- For every tuning client referral one FREE tuning will be credited.

McCracken County Evaluations -- FREE. Outside McCracken County Evaluations are charged a $50 estimate fee that will be applied to labor costs if quote is accepted.
