About Logan

Our piano technician, J. Logan Blewett, the husband of founder, proprietor, and instructor, Amy Blewett, started working on pianos in 2012. He is from Clarksville, Tennessee where he was a competitive swimmer from the age of 5 through the first semester of college. He started studying piano while he was in the fifth grade and continued through high school. He has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Evansville and a certificate of pastoral studies from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He has a very wide skill set ranging from working on phones and computers, being an American Sign Language Interpreter, and currently also drives a special needs school bus for McCracken County Schools. He started moving pianos regularly in January of 2019 when Blewett Music Studio purchased the moving business from Arnie Puckett with American Piano Pro here in Paducah. He also regularly accompanies the Studio's strings students.

His other volunteer duties include being the Handbell Director at Reidland United Methodist Church (Amy's church), Activities Chair of the West Kentucky Region Model A Restorers Club, Museum Director of the Paducah Railroad Museum, President of the Paducah Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, and National Quilt Museum Docent. He is also very active with his church, Grace Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and is an amateur radio operator (KG4VKB).

Logan is very strongly service oriented and enjoys enabling others to play their best.
